The Dragon Prince
This descriptive and engaging work follows the ancient tale of a handsome young prince forced (through evil sorcery) to live part of his life as a dragon. He marries the beautiful Griselda under the condition she never try to uncover his dark secret. Fate and curiosity intervene and she discovers his scaly and hideous identity only to be banished from his kingdom forever. The Dragon’s Lair
The sequel to Castles and Dragons, The Dragon’s Lair tells the tale of the knights’ search for the dragon’s whereabouts, using a sturdy tune and countermelody in C minor to describe their confidence and swagger. Once the dragon is spotted, the music becomes faster and more accented as the knights engage the dragon in a fierce battle. Once the dragon is vanquished, the main theme returns as the knights celebrate their victory.
