Using a combination of hip-hop and uptempo swing, here’s a marvelous take on Bud Powell’s bebop classic. A front line of alto, tenor and trumpet are featured off the top followed by an extended soli for the entire trumpet section. Solo space is provided for tenor sax, then a sax soli and ensemble shout round things out in this impressive chart!
