“The Phantom of Dark Hollow” was commissioned by the Indiana Bandmasters Association for the 2005 Indiana All-District Honor Bands. The piece was inspired by the weird and gruesome legend told about Robeson’s Hills, just across the Wabash River from Vincennes, Indiana.
