What a neat idea to turn this Henry Mancini classic into a medium samba groove! Your lead trombonist receives some well-deserved feature time and is joined briefly by the entire bone section. The ensemble “shout” chorus begins with an ingenious unison line played softly to start, before turning things back over to the trombone solo. Nicely done!SKU: HL7011523 -

Dreamsville is an outstanding ballad style arrangement of a beautiful Henry Mancini song arranged by Vince Gassi. The 1st tenor sax has a few melody phrases and a brief solo, and the 1st trumpet range is to written D, fourth line. Nice harmonies throughout, pluseasy rhythm section parts which combine to produce a superb ensemble sound. The chart sounds full with reduced instrumentation and includes optional parts.
