Big Band Holiday
Big Band Holiday is the perfect holiday chart for the young jazz band. Arranger Carl Strommen has blended “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,” “Have Yourself a Merry Christmas,” and “Frosty the Snowman” into an easy-to-rehearse and very playable chart. The chart features brief written-out solos for trombone 2 and alto sax 1 and plenty of ensemble playing throughout. The brass range is modest with lead trumpet going up to written F on the top line.
