Jon Mitchell

一個世紀前，當時的第五諾森伯蘭燧發槍隊 (5th Northumberland Fusiliers) 樂團指揮 James Causley Windram（後來成為冷流衛隊 (Coldstream Guards)）詢問 Gustav Holst，是否願意為軍樂團轉錄作曲家的《梨俱吠陀》讚美詩。霍爾斯特一直是樂團的擁護者，因此欣然同意。在這套極具特色的組曲中，Windram 的兩首讚美詩（Hymn of the Travellers and Battle Hymn）經過現代樂器的編輯，而第三首讚美詩（Hymn to Manas）則由 Jon Ceander Mitchell 根據 Holst 原來的合唱編曲。
